#Fashion season is over for now and we already miss it.  So we could not resist MAC’s  invitation to their event showcasing the trendiest looks at #catwalks all over the world for 2014 and 2015.

The event, held at the prestigious Oberoi Hotel, was beautifully organised and presented, nothing less than what anyone would expect from #MAC.  The stage was perfect for showcasing the four looks that were demonstrated by MAC Senior #Artist Mariam Khairallah, set up with two HD screens and beautiful #models by #Bareface.

All looks shared the common element of minimalism with more emphasis to fresh and illuminated skin and light textures.  Here is a brief description of what we experienced:

Look 1:  RE:VIEW

Focusing on intensifying the eyes, this look was all about black #liner and #lashes in a classic yet nostalgic way replacing the flicks and kohls of old with gestural strokes and aerodynamic wings that give a distinct openness to the gaze.  Lashes were all about extremity – all against bare #lips.

Must haves: Studio Sculpt Superblack Lash, Haute & Naughty too Black Lash, 205 Mascara Fan Brush, 266 small angle brush, Super Slick Liquid Eye Liner, Black Creme Liner.

Brightness, light, radiance.  Vanilla #eyeshadow mixed in with a few drops of careblend oil was blended over the eyelids for a sheer, porcelain effect.  Lashes and brows were turned down amplifying the brightness of the face, lending an extreme innocence to the look.

Must haves: Mineralize Skinfinish Perfect, Global Glow, Mixing Medium Shine, Eye Gloss in Lightly Tauped, Cream Colour Base in Luna, Prep+Prime Fix+

Inspired by freedom and the “girls at gigs” mood, this look has a playful twist featuring any #colour of pastels on the eye, minimal #foundation and natural lips. Aquatic, clear-water blues, coral and shell pinks are the essentials.

Must haves:  Blue Forecast, Super Fresh, Gold Pigment, Pro Longwear paint Pot in Perky, Casual colour in Secret Admirer, 3D Silver Glitter, Technakohl in Smooth Blue.

Look 4: “NO MAKEUP”

This season’s most prevalent look, “NO MAKEUP” is all about a natural, clean, hydrated finish.  As the inverted commas suggest, it is not about wearing no #makeup but working harder for every detail.  Minimal #powder, naturally groomed #brows, no #mascara, minimal lipstick, radiant #skin.

Must haves:  Matchmaster Concealer, Prep+Prime Natural Radiance, Force of Nature Eyeshadow, Studio Sculpt defining bronzer in Golden Rinse and Delicates, Trend Forecast Spring 15/Lip and Cheek Lips palette (melon and go guava shades).
